standards

Professional engineering standards, made observable.

AreYouFullStack uses a standards-based model of observable behavior to make reliability visible and trainable.

What we mean by standards

Standards are observable behaviors and outputs that increase or reduce system reliability. They are not personality labels.

  • Clear tradeoff articulation before decisions harden.

  • Proportional escalation before risk compounds.

  • Ownership clarity and loop closure.

  • Communication that others can act on.

  • Stability under ambiguity and critique.

Full-Stack is not tooling.

When we say "Full-Stack", what we mean is full-spectrum professional capability: how you think through constraints, carry responsibility, communicate risk, operate under load, collaborate, and convert experience into judgment.

Technical depth earns entry. Judgment earns trust.

The five capability clusters

Cognitive Architecture

Decision quality under constraint, systems reasoning, evidence discipline, problem framing.

Execution and Ownership Reliability

Predictable follow-through, commitment reliability, escalation integrity.

Stability Under Load

Performance under ambiguity and pressure, focus and capacity calibration.

Collaborative Leverage

Alignment, conflict navigation, and capability multiplication.

Growth and Adaptability

Deliberate development, reflection, and responsible risk handling.

The three stages

Reactive

Decision quality under constraint, systems reasoning, evidence discipline, problem framing.

Structured

Predictable follow-through, commitment reliability, escalation integrity.

Integrated

Performance under ambiguity and pressure, focus and capacity calibration.

Artifacts are the evidence

  • Decision writeups and tradeoff notes.

  • Escalation messages with context and options.

  • Planning artifacts and commitment logs.

  • Incident communication and post-incident summaries.

  • Domain snapshot sections and final report summaries.

These examples illustrate observability. They are not a scoring rubric

What this is not

  • Not therapy or psychological profiling.

  • Not motivational coaching.

  • Not resume writing, interview prep, recruiting, or job placement.

  • Not technical stack tutoring.

What we publish and keep internal

We publish taxonomy, definitions, and public-safe examples so the model is understandable

We keep scoring mechanics, weights, and internal numeric calibration internal.
